The goal of the program for 3rd and 4th graders is to inspire interest in computer sciences and engineering. This is a part of an initiative to aid Hollis Innovation Academy in obtaining STEM certification from The Georgia Department of Education.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\r\n\u003Cbr \/\u003E\r\nIn the first session, held on October 2, 2016, students explored the various parts of a computer such as the motherboard, internal fan, and memory with Georgia Tech CEISMC\u0026rsquo;s Information Technology Support Professional, Justin Turner. As part of this activity the students deconstructed and reconstructed computers and identified each component.
