Capacity Endowments and Paradigm Alternations in the Domestic Technological Development of Brazil and Mexico\u0026rdquo; as part of the 2016-17 College of Design Research Forum.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\r\n\u003Cbr \/\u003E\r\nThe talk will employ a comparison of the historical experience of four large-scale industries \u0026ndash; the Mexican and Brazilian auto and oil industries \u0026ndash; to evaluate some of the main factors shaping firm-level learning and acquisition of knowledge-based assets between the 1970s and the 2000s.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\r\n\u003Cbr \/\u003E\r\nThe research forums are a place for the College of Design community and our friends across the campus to experience the design- and technology-focused research at Georgia Tech.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EFrom music technology to product design; from assistive technology to healthcare; from architecture to city planning, we explore the many ways technology can solve critical problems for the way we live.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EYou\u0026rsquo;re invited to attend each of these free sessions in the Architecture Library, on the first floor of the Architecture West building.
