While the genre of science fiction has a longstanding reputation for highlighting male perspectives and characters, Yaszek\u0026rsquo;s anthology documents the contributions of women science fiction luminaries and links this work to larger patterns of literary and cultural production in twentieth-century America.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EYaszek formerly served as president of the Science Fiction Research Association and as a juror for the John W. Campbell and Eugie Foster Memorial Awards.
