{"587410":{"#nid":"587410","#data":{"type":"news","title":"Healthy Space Opens to the Tech Community","body":[{"value":"\u003Cp\u003EGeorgia Tech Health \u0026amp; Well-Being is inviting the campus community to the grand opening of Healthy Space on Friday, March 3, from noon to 1 p.m. on the second floor of the Student Center (across from the information desk).\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EPresident G.P. \u0026ldquo;Bud\u0026rdquo; Peterson will officially open the space and lead attendees on a wellness walk around Tech Green. The event will also include free chair massages provided by Campus Recreation, food from Dining Services, and the launch for the University System of Georgia\u0026rsquo;s (USG) \u003Ca href=\u0022http:\/\/hwb.gatech.edu\/health-trails\u0022\u003EHealthTrails Challenge\u003C\/a\u003E, a six-week well-being virtual tracking competition for faculty and staff. This statewide competition among USG institutions encourages employees to participate in a 300-mile virtual competition where they track steps, water consumption, and acts of kindness. The winning institution will be treated to a celebration and presented with the USG Well-Being trophy.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EHealthy Space was created by Health \u0026amp; Well-Being to provide the campus community with a comfortable, convenient location conducive to teaching and learning about health and well-being opportunities on campus.
