{"587889":{"#nid":"587889","#data":{"type":"event","title":"Health Check Services","body":[{"value":"\u003Cp\u003EJoin the Campus Recreation Center for Health Check Services Wednesday, March 8 and Thursday, March 9.\u0026nbsp;HealthCheck offers an on-site health screening program that brings professional medical staff and services to you. At the time of the screening, HealthCheck will obtain a small blood sample from you. The sample is sent to Quest Diagnostics, a nationally recognized and licensed clinical laboratory, for a comprehensive series of tests. These accurate tests detect such health problems as heart disease, diabetes, anemia, nutritional abnormalities, infections, high cholesterol, and even some forms of cancer. In addition, they check the function of vital organs such as the heart, liver, kidneys, and thyroid.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EThe HealthCheck medical director, a licensed Georgia M.D., will review your tests results and alert you of any abnormalities or potential health risks. Each test will be explained in easy-to-understand terms and will include educational materials that will help you understand your HealthCheck results.
