Ease Back Into Classes with I <3 GT Week

As students return refreshed from a week away, the Student Government Association (SGA) is hosting events all week to remind students why they’re here and provide stress relief as classes get back underway.

SGA’s annual I <3 GT Week begins today, with free student events taking place all week. Students can celebrate Tech traditions and enjoy activities on and off campus. A full schedule is below. Keep up with more event details on Facebook.

Monday: I ♥ Traditions – Kessler Campanile, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Participate in Traditions Trivia with Ramblin’ Reck Club while hanging out with the Reck, write a letter to an alumnus with the Student Alumni Association (SAA), and get a T-Book. Students can also still vote for the SAA Gift to Tech and get free swag.

Tuesday: I ♥ Diversity – Kessler Campanile, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

SGA will have organizations share their culture, while students can help SAA create a map of where Georgia Tech students are from. The Georgia Tech Student Foundation (GTSF) will share the work of some of the recipients who have received allocations to benefit the arts. Students can also write a letter to their favorite professors and have an opportunity to win a piece of Georgia Tech art.

Thursday: I ♥ Wellness – Tech Walkway, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Enjoy free yoga on Tech Green at 11 a.m. Bring a towel or yoga mat and join in between classes.
