{"58929":{"#nid":"58929","#data":{"type":"news","title":"Digital Media Will Move to TSRB","body":[{"value":"\u003Cp\u003EConstruction is underway at the Technology Square Research Building to create new facilities for the Digital Media program and the James and Mary Wesley Center for New Media Education and Research.\u003C\/p\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003EWhile similar in size to the current facilities in the Skiles Classroom Building, the new space is being designed to better meet the needs of the programs.  The TSRB facilities will provide centralized workspace, modernized equipment capabilities, and puts faculty and students in close proximity to colleagues in the Graphics, Visualization \u0026amp; Usability Center (GVU).\n\u003C\/p\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003EThe hub of the new facility will be the southeast corner of TSRB\u0027s third floor.  That space is being reconfigured to accommodate offices, six labs, and student work spaces.  An additional area on the first floor will provide a common area, conference setting, and a gaming lab.  \n\u003C\/p\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003EPlans call for the move to TSRB in mid to late July.
