The speaker will address the applicability of a Georgia Tech degree as Government IT Consultant. Particularly, the initial job search and recommendations for interviews.\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EThe speaker will than facilitate a technology focused review of three case studies from a 15-year career as a Booz Allen Hamilton consultant. The three case studies are:\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cul\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cli\u003E\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp; Modeling Simulation Wargaming and Analysis\u003C\/li\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cli\u003E\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp; The Moral Imperative:\u0026nbsp; Countering Improvised Explosive Devices\u003C\/li\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cli\u003E\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp; Health IT: Or How I Learned to Change Careers Without Really Leaving\u003C\/li\u003E\r\n\u003C\/ul\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EIn closing, Mr. Gelbaum will review key features of the corporate culture at Booz Allen Hamilton.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003ESpeaker Bio:\u003C\/strong\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E\r\nSince \u0026ldquo;getting out\u0026rdquo; of Georgia Tech as an INTA (2002), Mr. Gelbaum has worked in the Government IT Consulting industry. Since that time, he has supported numerous defense and intelligence organizations, in a wide variety technology reliant roles: Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) Analyst, Conflict Campaign Planning and Analysis, All-Source Fusion Team Leadership, Data Identification and Integration Specialist, Analytics Team Lead, and Organizational Liaison.\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EHe informally instructed hundreds of service members and contractor, and presented to many senior leaders including the Director of the Joint Staff, Vice Chairmen of the Joint Chiefs, Commandants of the Marine Corps, and the JASON Group.\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003ESince switching careers Mr. Gelbaum has focused on project and program management in Health IT and Analytics. Mr. Gelbaum enjoys staying closely connected with the Georgia Tech community.
