School of Mathematics alumnus, Professor \u003Ca href=\u0022http:\/\/www.math.vanderbilt.edu\/%7Ehardin\/\u0022 target=\u0022_blank\u0022\u003EDouglas Hardin\u003C\/a\u003E, is also an organizer of this conference.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EThe focus of this conference is on all aspects of constructive function theory, from asymptotics to zero distribution and on minimum energy problems on manifolds.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EThis year, the conference will honor the 70th birthday of Ed Saff. In 2004, the School of Mathematics hosted the \u003Ca href=\u0022http:\/\/www-old.math.gatech.edu\/news\/conferences\/at04\/\u0022 target=\u0022_blank\u0022\u003EConstructive Functions Tech-04 Conference\u003C\/a\u003E honoring Ed Saff\u0026#39;s 60th birthday.
