  <title><![CDATA[Six Public Policy Students Receive Office of Minority Educational Development Tower Awards]]></title>
  <body><![CDATA[<p>Six students from the Ivan Allen College School of Public Policy were recognized at Georgia Tech&rsquo;s 23<sup>rd</sup> annual Tower Awards on April 6, 2017, at the Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference Center.</p>

<p>Public Policy undergraduates Andrea Glaze, Shekinah Hall, Reagan Johnson, Margaret Kelley, Charles Lucas, and Janelle Owasu received awards at the event, which was organized by Georgia Tech&rsquo;s Office of Minority Educational Development (OMED) Educational Services.</p>

<p>Each year, OMED Education Services hosts the Tower Awards celebration to acknowledge and reaffirm underrepresented students&rsquo; academic achievements. This year, more than 1,200 students were academically eligible to receive a Tower Award. &nbsp;</p>
