The bill passed the House of Representatives earlier this month with an overwhelming majority vote of 422 to 5. \u003C\/p\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003EThe bill, according to supporters will improve security in all sectors by building a skilled cybersecurity workforce, speed the transfer of technologies to market, and promote awareness of cybersecurity to the public.\n\u003C\/p\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003E\u0022A large fraction of the American people, its businesses and government institutions have become increasingly dependent on networked information technologies.
