Saeed is among just 30 fellowship recipients from institutions in North America, Europe, and the Middle East.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003ESaeed works with Professors \u003Cstrong\u003EMostafa Ammar\u003C\/strong\u003E and \u003Cstrong\u003EEllen Zegura\u003C\/strong\u003E and his research interests include designing and implementing a new ecosystem for processing and networking for internet of things devices.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003ENational Science Foundation\u003C\/strong\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003E\u003Ca href=\u0022http:\/\/www.cc.gatech.edu\/news\/589186\/ic-phd-student-katie-cunningham-receives-nsf-fellowship\u0022\u003EKatie Cunningham\u003C\/a\u003E earned an \u003Ca href=\u0022https:\/\/www.nsf.gov\/news\/news_summ.jsp?cntn_id=191361\u0022\u003ENSF 2017 Graduate Research Fellowship Program\u003C\/a\u003E (GRFP) award\u003Cstrong\u003E. \u003C\/strong\u003ECunningham is a Ph.D. student in the School of Interactive Computing (School of IC) and will use her award to pursue research in education and learning technology.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EHonorable mentions for the 2017 NSF GRFP awards include GT Computing graduate students \u003Cstrong\u003ETony Shu\u003C\/strong\u003E, \u003Cstrong\u003EDavid Robinson\u003C\/strong\u003E, \u003Cstrong\u003EIan Stewart\u003C\/strong\u003E, and \u003Cstrong\u003EEmily Wall\u003C\/strong\u003E.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EIBM Research\u003C\/strong\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EIBM Research has also selected its \u003Ca href=\u0022http:\/\/www.research.ibm.com\/university\/awards\/phdfellowship.shtml\u0022\u003E2017-18 Ph.D. Fellowship Award Program\u003C\/a\u003E recipients. However, although they have been notified, the winners have not been publicly announced by IBM.
