The annual school supply drive benefits Georgia Tech employees who may lack the financial resources to purchase school supplies for their children in grades K-12. Last year more than 550 filled backpacks were gifted to 225 Georgia Tech families.

Following are the supplies kids typically need for school that will be used to fill backpacks* over the next six weeks: 

*hundreds of backpacks have been generously donated in bulk and no more are needed.

Donations can be taken to GTHR at 500 Tech Parkway. The deadline for donations and to apply to receive a backpack is Friday, July 14. Backpack recipients will be drawn at random, and backpacks will be distributed beginning July 25.
