This semester, that means adjusting the schedule of the steam whistle to coincide with a new class schedule.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003ETesting on the whistle is underway and will continue through Aug. 4. Those on campus the next two weeks may hear intermittent whistles at irregular times. A Facilities Management steam outage will temporarily suspend the notifications on Aug. 5. The beloved whistle will be ready to sound on its new schedule when classes resume Aug. 21.\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EThe new class schedule provides longer pass times of 15 minutes between classes and adjusts the length of classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
