Event Overview

The event will provide an overview of the broad research areas in IRIM, followed by a speed-networking event: Every 5 minutes our industry guests will have the opportunity to speak to a new student. 

Representatives from the robotics and automation industries will meet the talented M.S. and Ph.D. students in the robotics program enrolled in engineering programs in Mechanical, Electrical & Computer, Aerospace, and Biomedical, as well as those enrolled in Computer Science. The group is a mixture of students about to graduate, mid-career students looking for internship opportunities, and new students looking to find promising research directions.

This event will also offer an introduction to IRIM’s Industrial Affiliates program, which includes:

• Participation in IRIM’s Industry Day during Spring Semester 2018
• Direct access to graduate students in the robotics program
• Streamlined internship opportunities
• Access to robotics faculty with IRIM acting as a matchmaker
