{"594450":{"#nid":"594450","#data":{"type":"news","title":"Krishna Publishes On-Chip Networks Textbook","body":[{"value":"\u003Cp\u003ETushar Krishna, an assistant professor in the Georgia Tech School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE), has published a new textbook entitled \u003Cem\u003EOn-Chip Networks, Second Edition\u003C\/em\u003E.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EPart of the Synthesis Lectures on Computer Architecture, the book has been published by Morgan \u0026amp; Claypool Publishers. Krishna\u0026rsquo;s fellow book coauthors are Natalie Enright Jerger of the University of Toronto and Li-Shiuan Peh of the National University of Singapore.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EThis book targets engineers and researchers familiar with basic computer architecture concepts and who are interested in learning about on-chip networks. This work is designed to be a short synthesis of the most critical concepts in on-chip network design. It is a resource for both understanding on-chip network basics and for providing an overview of state of-the-art research in on-chip networks.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EThe authors believe that an overview that teaches both fundamental concepts and highlights state-of-the-art designs will be of great value to both graduate students and industry engineers.
