This particular show has been going on since human history has been recorded, and it\u0026rsquo;s back once again to thrill and educate everyone, including the Georgia Tech community.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EEclipse day is today, the first day of the Fall 2017 semester. Georgia Tech is ready for a safe and fun experience. Thanks to the College of Sciences and the Office of Undergraduate Education, solar-eclipse glasses will be available. These\u0026nbsp;glasses are essential for safely viewing the heavenly display directly.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EDistribution is at 12-1 PM at the following locations:\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cul\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cli\u003EIn front of Barnes and Noble in Tech Square\u003C\/li\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cli\u003EUnder the Binary Bridge near Noonan Courtyard\u003C\/li\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cli\u003EAt the atrium side of Clough Undergraduate Learning Commons\u003C\/li\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cli\u003EOn Tech Walkway in front of the Starbucks side of Clough Commons and Skiles Building\u003C\/li\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cli\u003EIn front of the Student Center\u003C\/li\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cli\u003EBy the Einstein sculpture\u003C\/li\u003E\r\n\u003C\/ul\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EAt 1 PM, activities commence at Kessler Campanile. Watch a live stream from the Georgia Tech Observatory, listen to a soundtrack based on data from past eclipses as well as today\u0026rsquo;s, take an auditory journey of the solar system, explore eclipse-enabled research, monitor changes in ambient temperature and visibility, and more.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003E\u0026ldquo;As a community focused on science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM), our perspective is biased toward the science, including safety,\u0026rdquo; says College of Sciences Dean and \u003Ca href=\u0022https:\/\/youtu.be\/9kP_TE38TdI\u0022\u003ESutherland Chair\u003C\/a\u003E Paul M.
