They have created two pieces - one for when the event was actually happening, with highs and lows to match the coming and going of the moon covering the sun, and another that will add additional data from the event to add to the existing piece of music.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EThe creation was inspired by AT\u0026amp;T asking \u003Ca href=\u0022http:\/\/sonify.psych.gatech.edu\/~walkerb\/\u0022\u003EProfessor Bruce Walker\u003C\/a\u003E if he would create an audio file to help the visually impaired to also experience the eclipse. Walker, who holds appointments in both the \u003Ca href=\u0022https:\/\/www.cc.gatech.edu\/\u0022\u003ECollege of Computing\u003C\/a\u003E and the \u003Ca href=\u0022https:\/\/www.cos.gatech.edu\/\u0022\u003ECollege of Sciences\u003C\/a\u003E, worked with two Georgia Tech Center for Music Technology students to make the composition happen: \u003Ca href=\u0022http:\/\/avroshk.com\/\u0022\u003EAvrosh Kumar\u003C\/a\u003E, an alumni, and \u003Ca href=\u0022https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/takahiko-tsuchiya-05103b43\/\u0022\u003ETakahiko Tsuchiya\u003C\/a\u003E, a Ph.D student.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003E\u0026ldquo;There are so many things during an eclipse that you can attempt to translate through audio,\u0026rdquo; said Kumar, who recently received his master\u0026rsquo;s degree in music technology. \u0026ldquo;Our main motive was to use music and sound to demonstrate what\u0026rsquo;s going on in the sky. At the same time, we wanted to create a pleasing, dramatic composition.
