Milton Stewart School of Industrial Systems and Engineering)\u003C\/a\u003E has been recognized by the \u003Ca href=\u0022http:\/\/www.sccm.org\u0022\u003ESociety for Critical Care Medicine (SCCM)\u003C\/a\u003E with a Scientific  Award for their project entitled, \u0022A Lean Focused Rounding Process in a Pediatric  Intensive Care Unit Increases Efficiency, Optimizes Resources and Improves  Satisfaction.\u0022\n\u003C\/p\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003EThe award will be formally presented during the Society\u0027s Poster Award Presentation to be held on Tuesday, January 12th, 2010 in conjunction with the 39th Critical Care Congress. In addition to Dr. Vats and Professor Keskinocak, other team members include Monica Villareal and Tuba Yilmaz (Ph.D. students in the H. Milton Stewart School of Industrial and Systems Engineering) and Kristin Hermann Goin (a graduate of Georgia Tech\u0027s Masters in Health Systems program and currently a  service consultant at Children\u0027s).
