Runnels is part of one of the most diverse Rhodes groups yet,\u0026nbsp;with 10 African-American students \u0026ndash; the most in a single Rhodes class \u0026ndash;\u0026nbsp;and four from schools that had never had winners before.\u0026nbsp;Runnels is also the second self-identified transgender student to win a Rhodes scholarship.
