News and World Report\u0027s 2007 * 2008 Graduate Rankings\u003C\/em\u003E. \u003C\/p\u003E\n\u003Cp class=\u0022MsoNormal\u0022\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\n\u003Cp class=\u0022MsoNormal\u0022\u003EThis year nine of the 11 programs within Georgia Tech\u0027s\n\u003C\/p\u003E\n\n\nCollege of\n\n\nEngineering ranked among the top 10 in their respective disciplines, led by ISyE.   ISyE was ranked number one for the 17th straight year.\n\u003Cp class=\u0022MsoNormal\u0022\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\n\u003Cp class=\u0022MsoNormal\u0022\u003EChelsea C. White III, ISyE School Chair, is pleased to see the School continue to receive this prestigious ranking, \u0022ISyE continues to excel in the U. S. News and World Report rankings, reflecting a lot of hard work on the part of the faculty and staff this past year and in years past. The nine engineering programs ranked in the top 10 are: aerospace (5th), biomedical (2nd), civil (4th), computer (6th), electrical (7th), environmental (6th), industrial and systems (1st), materials (9th) and mechanical (7th).\u003C\/p\u003E\n\u003Cp class=\u0022MsoNormal\u0022\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\n\u003Cp class=\u0022MsoNormal\u0022\u003E\u003Cem\u003EU.S. News \u0026amp; World Report\u003C\/em\u003E published the 2008 rankings this April in a special edition, \u0022America\u0027s Best Graduate Schools\u0022 guidebook. \u003C\/p\u003E\n\u003Cp class=\u0022MsoNormal\u0022\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\n\u003Cp class=\u0022MsoNormal\u0022\u003E--\u003C\/p\u003E\n\u003Cp class=\u0022MsoNormal\u0022\u003EThe \u003Cstrong\u003EH.
