{"60064":{"#nid":"60064","#data":{"type":"news","title":"Capital Planning \u0026 Space Management Announce New Event Scheduling Solution","body":[{"value":"\u003Cp\u003EThe Department of Capital Planning \u0026amp; Space Management (CPSM) is on a mission to make reserving space on campus more efficient for those planning events and activities. The new scheduling system recently implemented in the CPSM Department is the Event Management System (EMS), now known on campus as GT Events.  \n\n\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EEMS is not new to campus; it has been used for several years by three departments. By partnering with these departments, CPSM was able to negotiate an upgrade of the system. This includes offering scheduling software, free of charge, to any department that would like to use the system. \n\n\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EThe goal of CPSM is for GT Events to become the go-to source for event scheduling, enabling users to locate classrooms, conference rooms, and meeting space in more areas of campus.  This will also help to make the reservation process more effective.  \n\nCPSM is holding one-hour classroom sessions to inform and train users on this new system. \u003Cstrong\u003EDepartments may also request individualized sessions\u003C\/strong\u003E by contacting Beverly Peace.
