Brittain Postdoctoral Fellow) presented on &quot;Acting a Charity: Paradoxical Encomium and the Instability of Charles Lamb&#39;s Elia&quot; at the International Conference on Romanticism (El Paso TX) this past fall semester.&nbsp; Her article &quot;Rhetorical Accretion and Rhetorical Criticism in William Hazlitt&#39;s&nbsp;<em>Eloquence of the British Senate&quot;&nbsp;</em>&nbsp;was also published in&nbsp;<em>Advance in the History of Rhetoric</em>&nbsp;this December.&nbsp;</p>
