  <title><![CDATA[CEISMC Peaks Summer Internship]]></title>
  <body><![CDATA[<p><strong>Teaching Internship</strong></p>

<p><strong>Education:</strong>&nbsp;High school degree or equivalent. Prefer at least one year of college.</p>

<p><strong>Experience:&nbsp;</strong>At least one-year experience working or volunteering with students ages K-12. Prefer candidates with teaching experience that are familiar with the Georgia Tech campus.</p>

<p><strong>Duration:</strong>&nbsp;May 29, 2018 &ndash; July 27, 2018, 40 hours/week</p>

<p><strong>Duties:&nbsp;</strong>This position will serve CEISMC&rsquo;s K-12 Student Programs that run throughout the summer. Applicants must have prior experience working or volunteering with K-12 aged students. Applicants should have leadership experience and must have experience in providing quality customer service and the ability to speak effectively with students, parents, and instructors.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The CEISMC Instructor&rsquo;s role will include, but is not limited to: 1) preparing lesson materials, 2) supervising group of students throughout daily activities, 3) teaching in a professional manner, 4) taking students to various locations on campus for tours and lectures, 5) working hands-on with students to develop in-depth knowledge of course curriculum, 6) taking feedback regarding the course and improving for future delivery.</p>

<p><strong>Salary: $</strong>18.75 - $25/hr based on an average of 40 hours/wk</p>

<p>&nbsp;This position will serve CEISMC&rsquo;s elementary, middle, and high school Summer Programs for Enrichment and Accelerated Knowledge in STEM (PEAKS). Summer PEAKS runs through June and July. Applicants must have prior experience working or volunteering with K-12 aged students. Applicants should have leadership experience, experience in providing quality customer service, and the ability to speak effectively with students, parents and instructors. primarily that of a camp consoler: Checking students in and out with parents, supervising them throughout the day, and assisting the program instructors in whatever way is necessary. There will also be an end of the internship project with a deliverable.&nbsp;</p>
