{"603854":{"#nid":"603854","#data":{"type":"news","title":"Five students win top prizes at RBI\u0027s 2018 Poster Competition","body":[{"value":"\u003Cp\u003EMore than 150\u0026nbsp; industry leaders, association and government representatives and Georgia Tech faculty and students converged on the Global Learning Center March 6-7 for the\u0026nbsp;Renewable Bioproducts Institute\u0026nbsp;annual executive conference \u003Cem\u003ETransformative Opportunities for Bioproducts Manufacture.\u003C\/em\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EThis year\u0026rsquo;s conference focused on answering two top questions of the day: What transformative opportunities are available to today\u0026#39;s manufacturing entities? and How can smart manufacturing, big data and analytics help increase efficiecy and boost sustainable productivity - now and in the coming decades?\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EOne of the highlights of the annual conference has become the poster competition and reception which closes out day one of the meeting.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EForty-six\u0026nbsp; RBI\u0026rsquo;s Fellows, Ph.D. students sponsored by RBI\u0026rsquo;s endowment, participated. The session is held in conjunction with an evening reception and allows industry, academia, and government guests to get an up-close look at the research being conducted through the RBI Fellowships and discuss ideas with the students face to face.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EThis year, RBI named five winners.
