{"604049":{"#nid":"604049","#data":{"type":"news","title":"TAPPI Nano announces opening keynote","body":[{"value":"\u003Cp\u003EAlper Kiziltas, Ph.D., will present \u0026quot;Driving the Automotive\u0026nbsp;Industry Using Sustainable Materials\u0026quot; as the opening keynote of the TAPPI Nano Divison\u0026#39;s annual conference.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EKiziltas is research scientist with the Sustainable Biomaterials and Plastic\u0026nbsp;Research Group\u003Cbr \/\u003E\r\nwithin Ford Motor Company.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EHe will discuss how Ford is researching nanocellulose reinforced composites and foams for automotive applications.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EHis particular interests lie in sustainable materials such as bio-based and recycled resins, natural fiber composites,and nanofillers-reinforced foams and composites. He is a graduate of the University of Maine where he received his master\u0026rsquo;s and Ph.D. degrees from the School of Forest Resources. He has published more than 50 papers and presentations in peer-reviewedjournals and conferences and holds five patent disclosures.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EThe TAPPI International Conference on Nanotechnology for Renewable Materials will be held June 11-14 in Madison, WI.
