State Senator Jack Hill who is chairman of the Appropriations Committee presented the resolution to Melody. Melody was awarded the 2018 Distinguished Alumni Award from the School of Public Policy and Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts upon the occasion of the 130\u003Csup\u003Eth\u003C\/sup\u003E anniversary of the Ivan Allen College.
