The \u003Cstrong\u003Epurpose \u003C\/strong\u003Eof the forum is to connect the medical\/life sciences\/biology and nanotechnology\/engineering communities. The \u003Cstrong\u003Egoal \u003C\/strong\u003Eis to communicate to researchers what capabilities micro- or nano- technology may offer them and to foster interdisciplinary research activities.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\r\n\u003Cbr \/\u003E\r\n\u003Cstrong\u003EThe Spring 2018 NanoFANS\u003C\/strong\u003E \u003Cstrong\u003EForum, \u003C\/strong\u003Eon May 9th, will focus on \u0026ldquo;\u003Cem\u003EBiophotonics in Medical Diagnostics,\u003C\/em\u003E\u0026rdquo; an emerging interdisciplinary field that investigates interactions of light or photons with biological systems.
