If so, please take a moment to nominate that individual or unit for the 2018 Diversity Champion Awards.\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EEach year, the Diversity Champion Awards recognize those who demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion within the Georgia Tech community. They will be honored at the 10\u003Csup\u003Eth\u003C\/sup\u003E Annual Diversity Symposium Awards Luncheon on September 5, 2018.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003E\u0026ldquo;This year\u0026rsquo;s Diversity Symposium theme is \u0026lsquo;Building Inclusive Communities: The Path Forward,\u0026rsquo; and the awards will be given to campus community members who demonstrate leadership in building an inclusive community and advancing a culture of inclusive excellence,\u0026rdquo; said Archie Ervin, vice president for Institute Diversity.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EAward recipients will have demonstrated one or more of the following within the last 10 years:\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cul\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cli\u003ECommitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.\u003C\/li\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cli\u003ELeadership in building an inclusive campus community and advancing a culture of inclusive excellence.\u003C\/li\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cli\u003EOrganized, conducted, and\/or supported programs, events, and activities that promote cross-cultural understanding, respect, and inclusion of diverse individuals and groups.\u003C\/li\u003E\r\n\u003C\/ul\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003ENominations will be accepted until June 1, 2018.
