606700 news 1527885237 1528209335 <![CDATA[Husbands Fealing Appointed to National Science Foundation Committee]]> Kaye Husbands Fealing, professor and chair of the Georgia Tech School of Public Policy, has been appointed to the Committee on Equal Opportunities in Science and Engineering (CEOSE) of the National Science Foundation (NSF). CEOSE is a congressionally mandated advisory committee to the National Science Foundation.

Husbands Fealing will serve as the liaison between the CEOSE committee and the Education and Human Resources Directorate at NSF for a three year term starting in May, 2018. Previously, she served on the advisory committee for NSF’s Social, Behavioral and Economic Sciences Directorate. Prior to that, she was a rotator in the Economics Program, and she developed and was the first program director for the Science of Science and Innovation Policy (SciSIP) program. Charles Isbell from Georgia Tech also serves on CEOSE (liaison to CISE). 

Husbands Fealing attended her first committee meeting May 30 - 31.  Read more about the committee’s goals and work.

The School of Public Policy is a unit of Georgia Tech's Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts.
