  <title><![CDATA[Husbands Fealing Appointed to National Science Foundation Committee]]></title>
  <body><![CDATA[<p>Kaye Husbands Fealing, professor and chair of the Georgia Tech School of Public Policy, has been appointed to the Committee on Equal Opportunities in Science and Engineering (CEOSE) of the National Science Foundation (NSF).&nbsp;CEOSE is a congressionally mandated advisory committee to the National Science Foundation.</p>

<p>Husbands Fealing will serve as the liaison between the CEOSE committee and the Education and Human Resources Directorate at NSF for a three year term starting in May, 2018. Previously, she served&nbsp;on the advisory committee for NSF&rsquo;s Social, Behavioral and Economic Sciences Directorate.&nbsp;Prior to that, she was a rotator in the Economics Program, and&nbsp;she developed and was the first program director for the Science of Science and Innovation Policy (SciSIP) program.&nbsp;Charles Isbell from Georgia Tech also serves on CEOSE (liaison to CISE).&nbsp;</p>
