He has pursued\ntheoretical and practical challenges with sensing, learning, and decision\nmaking under uncertainty, with applications in human\u0026nbsp;decision making and\nin computational systems that perceive, learn, and reason. He has served as\nPresident of the Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence\n(AAAI) and is now the Immediate\u0026nbsp;Past President of the organization.
