National Preparedness Month was\ninitiated to encourage citizens to prepare for disasters and\nemergencies in their homes, communities and businesses.  As part of\nthis campaign the Georgia Tech Office of Emergency Preparedness will\nbe doing several things to help educate the campus community.  Listed\nbelow are some of the events:\u003C\/p\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003E\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\n\u003Cul\u003E\u003Cli\u003E\u003Cp\u003EOn September 2\u003Csup\u003End\u003C\/sup\u003E at\n\t11:00 a.m. we will conduct a campus wide test of the Georgia Tech\n\tEmergency Notification System.\u003C\/p\u003E\n\t\u003C\/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003E\u003Cp\u003EOn September 9\u003Csup\u003Eth\u003C\/sup\u003E the\n\tOffice of Emergency Preparedness will be handing out information in\n\tthe Student Center from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.\u003C\/p\u003E\n\t\u003C\/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003E\u003Cp\u003EWe have launched two new Emergency\n\tPreparedness courses:  See Something, Say Something and Awareness\n\tfor Initial Response to Hazardous Materials.
