{"607689":{"#nid":"607689","#data":{"type":"news","title":"Center for Academic Success Hiring Tutors","body":[{"value":"\u003Cp\u003EThe Center for Academic Success is looking for highly motivated students capable of tutoring both core and major related courses.\u003Cem\u003E\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/em\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EIn order to be eligible, applicants must:\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cul\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cli\u003EBe undergraduate students in good academic standing\u003C\/li\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cli\u003EBe undergraduate students in good judicial standing\u003C\/li\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cli\u003EHave and maintain a 3.0 GPA or higher\u003C\/li\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cli\u003EHave completed one full semester at Georgia Tech\u003C\/li\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cli\u003EHave taken the courses you wish to tutor at Georgia Tech and earned a minimum grade of an \u0026quot;A\u0026rdquo;\u003C\/li\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cli\u003EMust be able to dedicate 7 to 20 hours per week (hours vary depending on position)\u003C\/li\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cli\u003EMust have a faculty member who can provide you a referral for at least one of the subjects you can tutor\u003C\/li\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cli\u003EBe available to tutor at least seven hours per week, and eligible to support a minimum of five courses\u003C\/li\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cli\u003EBe available to attend bi-weekly training meetings\u003C\/li\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cli\u003EBe able to enroll in weekly course, CETL 2001: Fundamentals of Peer Tutoring, on Thursdays at 10:55 am\u003C\/li\u003E\r\n\u003C\/ul\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EThis is a paid position. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, and applicants for the fall semester will be reviewed this summer.
