I started this month on July 8, 2002.\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EWhy did you decide to pursue a career in healthcare? \u003C\/strong\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EMy mother is a nurse (as is my oldest daughter) so the medical field was of interest early on and by fate, I was hired on by a physical therapy group thus beginning\u0026nbsp;my career in medical billing, coding, payment posting and assisted the therapists with patient care.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EWhat do you love most about your job? \u003C\/strong\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EKnowing I have helped and made a difference in a student\u0026rsquo;s life by taking the time to help them through the confusing and frustrating world of insurance!\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EHow have you seen SHS evolve throughout your time here? \u003C\/strong\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EI have seen it grow in many different areas for the students. I\u0026#39;ve made sure\u0026nbsp;to keep the main objective of the student\u0026rsquo;s needs as the top priority during the growth.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EWhat have you learned from the people you work with at SHS?\u003C\/strong\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EThe ability to work in difficult and stressful situations.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EWhat does your day to day look like?\u003C\/strong\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EI process insurance claims, meet with students and parents with various insurance inquiries, answer phone calls, post insurance payments to name just a few.
