In addition, the service enables members from other schools to log in to their own eduroam service, instead of configuring their device to Tech\u0026rsquo;s networking service. \u003Ca href=\u0022http:\/\/eduroam.us\/institutions_list\u0022\u003EClick here\u003C\/a\u003E for a listing of eduroam participating institutions.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EThe most significant change when configuring eduroam is that the username entered needs to be in the format of \u0026quot;\u003Ca href=\u0022mailto:gtaccount@gatech.edu\u0022\u003Egtaccount@gatech.edu\u003C\/a\u003E.\u0026quot; For example, a user with the Georgia Tech account \u0026quot;gpburdell8,\u0026quot; should enter \u0026quot;\u003Ca href=\u0022mailto:gpburdell8@gatech.edu\u0022\u003Egpburdell8@gatech.edu\u003C\/a\u003E\u0026quot; as the username along with the account password.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EWhen making the switch to eduroam, it is important that only one Georgia Tech network be configured on a device at any one time to avoid connection instability. Users must delete their GTwifi account and ensure that each of their devices is configured to connect to eduroam only.
