Woodruff School of Mechanical Engineering and School of Materials Science and Engineering), Founder Carbice Corporation, gave an informative presentation on technology and business development in Carbice Corporation, with first-hand tips on how to get academic technology out of the lab and into the minds and products of customers.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EDr. Karen K. Gleason\u003C\/strong\u003E\u0026nbsp;from MIT (Associate Provost \u0026amp; Alexander and I. Michael Kasser Professor of Chemical Engineering Massachusetts Institute of Technology) also gave an inspiring\u0026nbsp;presenation on development of\u0026nbsp;vapor deposited polymers from their\u0026nbsp;fundamental discovery\u0026nbsp;to commercialization in several technological areas.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EGeorgia Tech Professors \u003Cstrong\u003EDr.\u0026nbsp;Samuel Graham\u003C\/strong\u003E,\u0026nbsp;Chair and Professor, George W.Woodruff School of Mechanical Engineering Georgia Institute of Technology\u0026nbsp;presenting\u0026nbsp;\u003Cem\u003EThe Engineering of Thermal interfaces: Challenges and Opportunities\u003C\/em\u003E and\u003Cstrong\u003E\u0026nbsp;Dr. Rampi Ramprasad,\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/strong\u003EMichael E. Tennenbaum Family Chair Georgia Research Alliance Eminent Scholar in Energy Sustainability presenting\u0026nbsp;\u003Cem\u003EPolymer Genome: An Informatics Platform for Rational Polymer Dielectrics Design and Beyond\u003C\/em\u003E, gave the audience valuable insight in to the importance and potential for commercial applications in technology currently under research at Georgia Tech.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003ERepresentatives from several companies were in attendance.
