{"613241":{"#nid":"613241","#data":{"type":"news","title":"Special issue of  the journal Discrete and Continuous Dynamical Systems-A  dedicated to Prof. Rafael de la Llave","body":[{"value":"\u003Cp\u003EA special issue of the journal Discrete and Continuous\u0026nbsp;Dynamical Systems-A has been\u0026nbsp;dedicated to Prof. Rafael de la Llave.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EThe issue 38-12 of the journal Discrete and Continuos Dynamical Systems-A\u0026nbsp;contains the proceedings of the international conference LLAVEFEST, which was celebrated June, 2017 in Barcelona.\u0026nbsp;\u003Ca href=\u0022http:\/\/www.crm.cat\/en\/Activities\/Curs_2016-2017\/Pages\/C_FIDDS.aspx\u0022\u003EThe conference\u003C\/a\u003E was devoted to the interface of dynamics and partial differential equations and applications.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EThe goal of the conference was\u0026nbsp;to present new advances in different aspects on Dynamical Systems and Partial Differential Equations.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EThere were 151 participants in attendance.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\r\n\u003Cbr \/\u003E\r\nTopics covered included:\u003Cbr \/\u003E\r\n-\u0026nbsp; Dynamical systems and ergodic theory\u003Cbr \/\u003E\r\n-\u0026nbsp; Global dynamics in Hamiltonian systems\u003Cbr \/\u003E\r\n-\u0026nbsp; KAM theory\u003Cbr \/\u003E\r\n-\u0026nbsp; Arnol\u0026#39;d diffusion\u003Cbr \/\u003E\r\n-\u0026nbsp; PDEs and their applications\u003Cbr \/\u003E\r\n-\u0026nbsp; Lattice systems\u003Cbr \/\u003E\r\n-\u0026nbsp; Action-minimizing orbits and measures\u003Cbr \/\u003E\r\n-\u0026nbsp; Invariant manifold theory\u003Cbr \/\u003E\r\n-\u0026nbsp; Hyperbolic systems\u003Cbr \/\u003E\r\n-\u0026nbsp; Renormalization group methods\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EThe main goal of the conference was bringing together many researchers\u0026nbsp;from different disciplines, who presented high level talks. The conference also served as a celebration of\u0026nbsp;Prof. de la Llave 60th birthday.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003ESeveral of the presentations in the conference have been written up,\u0026nbsp;refereed for correctness\u0026nbsp;and relevance, and gathered in a special\u0026nbsp;volume of Discrete and Continuous Dynamical\u0026nbsp;Systems-A.\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EProf. de la Llave and Prof. C.
