Biochemistry, Biology Minor, Class of 2020\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EHometown \u0026ndash; Dillard, Georgia\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Ch4\u003EWhy did you choose to study biochemistry?\u003C\/h4\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EI\u0026#39;ve always really liked science, especially chemistry. In high school, my chemistry teacher (who was also my advisor) encouraged me to pursue chemistry in college. While history and English come more easily to me, I\u0026#39;ve always enjoyed the way chemistry can explain how things work at the most fundamental level. It\u0026rsquo;s a challenging subject but very interesting.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Ch4\u003EWhy did you choose to attend Georgia Tech?\u003C\/h4\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EI wanted to go to a school that would push my limits and where my success was not certain. I chose the harder path because I knew that I would get more out of the college experience at Georgia Tech. I needed a school that matched my ambition and drive, and Tech did just that.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Ch4\u003EWhat organizations are you involved with on campus?\u003C\/h4\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EI\u0026rsquo;m a member of \u003Ca href=\u0022https:\/\/orgsync.com\/136432\/chapter\u0022\u003EAlpha Delta Pi\u003C\/a\u003E, \u003Ca href=\u0022https:\/\/orgsync.com\/136136\/chapter\u0022\u003ECollege Diabetes Network\u003C\/a\u003E, \u003Ca href=\u0022https:\/\/orgsync.com\/145266\/chapter\u0022\u003EWestminster Christian Foundation\u003C\/a\u003E, \u003Ca href=\u0022https:\/\/orgsync.com\/130898\/chapter\u0022\u003EStudent Government Association\u003C\/a\u003E, \u003Ca href=\u0022https:\/\/orgsync.com\/136866\/events\/2556097\/occurrences\/6144513\u0022\u003ECircle of Sisterhood\u003C\/a\u003E, and the Campus Christian Foundation.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Ch4\u003EWhat do you like to do in your free time?\u003C\/h4\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EI love playing piano, hiking, and running. I enjoy any time I get to spend outside.
