{"616514":{"#nid":"616514","#data":{"type":"news","title":"Board of Regents Offers Guidance on Political Activity ","body":[{"value":"\u003Cp\u003EAs the 2020 legislative session begins, the University System of Georgia (USG) offers guidance to employees about its policies on political activities.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EUSG employees are encouraged to fulfill their civic obligations and share their views on political issues; however, in doing so, they may act only in their personal capacities and must not use Institute resources or appear to be speaking on behalf of the Institute.\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EIn addition, USG employees may not hold elective political offices at the state or federal level while employed by the USG.
