<p>The hope is that in 80 years we&#39;re not submerged in water.</p>

<p><a href="https://www.eas.gatech.edu/people/cobb-dr-kim">Kim Cobb</a> joined community leaders and the state&#39;s top experts in sea-level rise at <a href="https://www.ccga.edu/page.cfm?p=1305">College of Coastal Georgia</a> to take a good look at sea-level rise in Glynn County, what&#39;s to come, and what the community can do to move forward. The panel discussed predictions,&nbsp;cultural and socioeconomic risks assocated with sea-level rise, and flood insurance.</p>

<p>Kim Cobb is the the Georgia Power Chair and ADVANCE Professor in the <a href="http://eas.gatech.edu/">School of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences</a>.</p>
