  <title><![CDATA[Leslie Ross Selected for NACADA's 2019-2021 Class of Emerging Leaders]]></title>
  <body><![CDATA[<p><a href="https://spp.gatech.edu/people/person/leslie-ross">Leslie Ross</a>, academic program manager I in the Georgia Institute of Technology&rsquo;s School of Public Policy, has been named by&nbsp;NACADA &ndash;&nbsp;<a href="https://www.nacadajournal.org/">The Global Community for Academic Advising</a> &ndash; as one of ten selected from an international pool of applicants to be apart of its&nbsp;2019-2021 Class of Emerging Leaders.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The Executive Leadership Program is a two-year program in which Ross&nbsp;will gain the skills, experiences, and knowledge needed to move into elected positions within the Association. In addition, she will prepare&nbsp;research, publications, and presentations in NACADA.&nbsp; Ross will be provided some funding by NACADA to assist her in participating in programs or events.</p>

<p>Roberta &lsquo;Bobbie&rsquo;&nbsp;Flaherty, NACADA&rsquo;s Executive Director, writes, &ldquo;We are extremely proud of&nbsp;Leslie&nbsp;and know that NACADA,&nbsp;Georgia Tech, and&nbsp;Leslie&nbsp;will benefit from her involvement in this program.&rdquo;</p>

<p>NACADA previously&nbsp;recognized Ross&nbsp;as an award winner for Outstanding Academic Advisor during its 2018 Conference.</p>
