I work on a system that helps people label data more easily, with the hope of saving researchers time and money. I\u0026rsquo;m also very interested in advancing the understanding of how work should be divided between humans and machines during supervised learning.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003ELonger term, I\u0026#39;m interested in videos understanding context and being able to learn from a few examples rather than thousands, as these are two areas that reveal the shortcomings of modern machine learning techniques vis-a-vis human ability. It\u0026rsquo;s the only conference I have been to and it was awesome. I\u0026#39;ve been running D\u0026amp;D for about three years now and it\u0026#39;s a blast.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EFavorite place to hang out on campus or in Atlanta and why:\u003C\/strong\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EI honestly love my house a lot and I enjoy hosting people. Some other favorites are \u003Ca href=\u0022https:\/\/ameliesfrenchbakery.com\/\u0022\u003EAmelie\u0026rsquo;s,\u003C\/a\u003E \u003Ca href=\u0022http:\/\/www.wagaya.us\/\u0022\u003EWayaga\u003C\/a\u003E, and \u003Ca href=\u0022https:\/\/www.drbombays.com\/\u0022\u003EDr. Bombay\u0026rsquo;s\u003C\/a\u003E, and Waffle House. Piedmont Park is nice and spacious. As far as campus goes, I\u0026rsquo;m almost always in the lab.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003ETell us about your hobbies: \u003C\/strong\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EI play classical guitar. And, I love playing video games and reading science fiction. I also run a Dungeons and Dragons group which takes up a lot of my time with planning campaigns, drawing maps, and piecing together the story.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EFavorite Georgia Tech experience: \u003C\/strong\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EMy labmates are really fun and we often have game nights at my advisor\u0026#39;s house, which is fun and cozy.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EWho is someone that inspires you and why? \u003C\/strong\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003E\u003Ca href=\u0022http:\/\/www.ursulakleguin.com\/UKL_info.html\u0022\u003EUrsula LeGuin\u003C\/a\u003E is a constant source of inspiration to me. She was an incredibly wise person and her mind was a gift to the world.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EWhat is your proudest accomplishment?\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/strong\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EProfessionally, my proudest accomplishment is my work with Berkeley Deep Drive on Scalabel, as it was my first huge software engineering project.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EMy proudest accomplishment personally is my D\u0026amp;D group. Two to three hours is the perfect length for a story, and you can watch with friends.
