The theme for this year\u0026rsquo;s summit is \u0026ldquo;Her Time to Lead.\u0026rdquo;\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EThe concept for the Women in Technology Summit was introduced in 2017 during the USG\u0026rsquo;s annual Chief Information Officers Advisory Council meeting. The first summit was held later that summer at Georgia State and College University and last year\u0026rsquo;s event was hosted at the University of West Georgia. The annual event strives to improve the diversity gap, specifically in technology, and more broadly in STEM-related careers and is inclusive of all gender identities.
