Currently, I focus on Reinforcement Learning in Inventory Management.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EFavorite place to hang out on campus or in Atlanta and why:\u003C\/strong\u003E The Beltline is a great place to spend a sunny Sunday.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EWhat are your summer plans? \u003C\/strong\u003EThis summer, I\u0026rsquo;ll be interning as a JSPS research fellow at \u003Ca href=\u0022http:\/\/www.riken.jp\/en\/\u0022\u003ERIKEN\u003C\/a\u003E\u003Ca href=\u0022http:\/\/www.riken.jp\/en\/research\/labs\/aip\/\u0022\u003E \u003C\/a\u003EAdvanced Intelligence Project (AIP) in Tokyo, Japan.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EFavorite Georgia Tech experience:\u003C\/strong\u003E This actually has not happened yet, but I\u0026rsquo;m excited about a project that my friend and fellow Ph.D. student \u003Ca href=\u0022http:\/\/ml.gatech.edu\/hg\/item\/618200\u0022\u003ENathan\u0026nbsp;Hatch\u003C\/a\u003E\u0026nbsp;and I are working on for this upcoming academic year.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EStarting this fall, Nathan and I will be organizing a bi-weekly seminar for machine learning (ML) Ph.D. students. The talks will be given by an ML student about their current research or a tool that they like to use\u0026nbsp;with time for questions and mingling.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EWe created this seminar series to help ML students get to know each other on a personal basis and build a stronger community. Because machine learning is spread out across campus, it\u0026rsquo;s often hard to know what other students are working on.
