624025 event 1565040028 1565641982 This SLCE (Service Learning and Community Engagement) orientation session offers students foundations for service learning and community engagement work in their courses.  Students who are in courses that have a specific SLCE component-- such as a required service learning experience or a real world project with a partner-- are strongly encouraged to attend.  The session will cover safe and respectful behaviors in communities unfamiliar to you; power, voice, and access to resources in Atlanta and the region; tips and best practices for partner-based collaborations off campus. The session will be interactive, and is open to students in any course or major!
