{"624809":{"#nid":"624809","#data":{"type":"event","title":"VOICE Peer Educators Application Deadline","body":[{"value":"\u003Cp\u003EThe VOICE Peer Educators are a\u0026nbsp;cohort of students who are committed to ending sexual violence on Georgia Tech\u0026#39;s campus.\u0026nbsp;They are extensively trained\u0026nbsp;on sexual violence prevention\u0026nbsp;topics such as defining consent, sexual violence prevention and bystander intervention, healthy relationships, and survivor support. Students will learn behavior\u0026nbsp;change theory, effective public speaking, and\u0026nbsp;curriculum development.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003ERequirements to be a VOICE peer educator includes:\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cul\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cli\u003EAttend an initial\u0026nbsp;mandatory training\u003C\/li\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cli\u003EAttend weekly meetings\u003C\/li\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cli\u003ECommit to approximately 8-10 hours per month to the program\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/li\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cli\u003EAttend additional trainings as necessary (approximately 2-3 per semester)\u003C\/li\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cli\u003EGive a minimum of 2 presentations per semester\u003C\/li\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cli\u003EVolunteer at a minimum of 2 events per semester for at least one hour\u003C\/li\u003E\r\n\u003C\/ul\u003E\r\n","summary":null,"format":"limited_html"}],"field_subtitle":"","field_summary":[{"value":"\u003Cp\u003EVOICE is currently recruiting for their next cohort of student peer educators.
