625851 event 1568044510 1568044988 <![CDATA[Law, Justice, and Religious Identity in America: A LAMP Event]]> Join the Leadership and Multifaith Program (LAMP) on September 26, 2019, from 12:30 to 5:00 PM, for a seminar on Law, Justice, and Religious Identity in America. This event will feature a keynote address by Judge Halim Dhanidina, entitled "Keeping the faith: What secular law has taught me about religion."

Dhanidina is an associate justice for the Second District of the California Court of Appeal, the first South Asian American to serve as an appellate justice in the State of California, and the first Muslim appellate level judge in the US. Lunch will be served at 12:30 PM, followed at 2:00 by the keynote and a panel of responses by religious and civic leaders. During lunch and the closing reception at 4:00 PM, guests will view the exhibit “Refuge or Refusal: Turning Points in US Immigration History,” from the Museum of History and Holocaust Education at Kennesaw State University.
