Dr. Huang received his Ph.D. in Statistics from the University of Illinois at Chicago and two MS degrees from the Georgia Institute of Technology and National Taiwan University as well as BA and BS from National Taiwan University. His scholarly interests and expertise include clustering, classification, dimension reduction. His research addresses challenges in analyzing big data, interdisciplinary research, and developing new statistical methods. His current research is partially sponsored by an NSF grant and an NIH grant.

Abstract:

Research of movement trajectory is undergoing a revolution due to the growing volumes of high-resolution spatio-temporal movement data and models .
