  <title><![CDATA[Has El Nino Become More Intense In The Industrial Age?]]></title>
  <body><![CDATA[<p><a href="https://agupubs.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/abs/10.1029/2019GL083906" target="_blank">In a new study published in&nbsp;<em>Geophysical Research Letters</em></a>, data revealed that&nbsp;<a href="https://www.forbes.com/sites/marshallshepherd/2019/03/11/six-signs-that-el-nino-is-very-healthy-right-now/#543476282dd3" target="_blank">El&nbsp;Ni&ntilde;os</a>&nbsp;have become more intense in the Industrial Age. For more insight on the study, I reached out to&nbsp;<a href="http://shadow.eas.gatech.edu/~kcobb/people/people.html" target="_blank">Professor <strong>Cobb</strong>, the study&rsquo;s principal investigator and Georgia Power Chair and ADVANCE Professor in the Georgia Institute of Technology&rsquo;s (Georgia Tech) School of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences</a>.
