  <title><![CDATA[Space Heater Safety]]></title>
  <body><![CDATA[<h2>Safety Tips for Space Heaters</h2><p>Requirements for the selection of a safe Space Heater are as follows;</p><ol><li>Ceramic type devices.</li><li>Individual built-in thermostats.</li><li>Automatically shut-off if the airflow becomes blocked.</li><li>Safety shut off if the heater is tipped over.</li><li>Listed by an approved testing laboratory, like UL Listed</li></ol><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Safe usage and placement of a space heater; </p><ul><li>Plug space heater directly into a wall receptacle without the use of an extension cord. </li><li>Maintain a minimum of 3 feet (on all sides) away from combustible materials 
(Examples: furniture, paper, boxes, and trash cans, clothes and any fabric 
covered items).</li><li>Maintain airflow behind and around the unit.</li><li>Remember to shut of the space heater before leaving the office just in case your return is delayed.</li><li>
